Archery Elk Hunting

Our archery elk hunts take place in the rolling, timbered hills north of Big Timber, MT. The elk numbers are high and the bull to cow ratio is one of the highest in the state.

A typical day starts with an early morning breakfast and then we are off to hunt in a side by side or pickup truck. When we reach our hunting location, we will hunt on foot. Typically we utilize calling as our main technique. If bulls aren't responding to calls, we also spot and stalk or sit on traveling routes to and from bedding and feeding areas in an attempt to intercept a moving herd. At the end of the day, everyone will enjoy a home cooked, hearty meal.

If lots of bugling bulls is what you are after, then this is your hunt.

Rifle Elk Hunting

Our rifle hunts take place in the same area as our archery hunts are conducted.

A typical day starts with an early morning breakfast. From there a side by side or a pickup truck is our mode of transportation for the day. We will spend a lot time glassing from a vehicle and on foot. Once the elk are located, if possible, we will stalk them. We may also utilize sitting on traveling routes to and from bedding and feeding areas. At the end of the day everyone will enjoy a hearty home cooked meal.

All hunts require a 50% deposit upon booking to secure the dates you wish to hunt. The remainder will be due upon arrival of the hunt. The deposit is non-refundable unless you fail to draw a license, at which point we can refund 100% of your deposit, or use it towards a hunt the following year.
